Watching Thrones 2017 all in one place!

Fellow Game of Thrones people! My Screen Junkies show “Watching Thrones” has ended for another season. But you can find all episodes from this season here on a YouTube playlist! And check out my YouTube channel for individual Game of Thrones-oriented videos I’ll be putting out throughout the off season. This season was such a blast because there was so much to unpack. We’re completely beyond the books and while sometimes it seemed as if the showrunners were as clueless towards direction as we all were, there were some absolutely incredible moments and I couldn’t wish for a better crew to talk it over with.  I loved our guest stars this year, too! Tiffany Smith from GeekNation had me and Maude Garrett (Hot Hits, Geek Bombshells) on her podcast today to discuss last night’s Game of Thrones episode (Season 3, Episode 6: The Climb).  We discuss the verbal bitchslaps of Varys, Littlefinger and Tywin, and whether Lady Olenna has bigger balls than all of them combined. http://www.geeknation.com/podcasts/game-of-thrones-recap-review-podcast-ep-6-the-climb/ Whether you’ve read the books or  not, the TV show always has a lot to discuss because of all the delightful character details and conversations that you can absolutely imagine happening behind the scenes, but were never actually written.  It’s a huge credit to the writers that the dialogue is completely on par with the most venom-dripping words George RR ever put down on paper. Between Joffrey’s newfound lows of sociopathic depravity to showing just how heartless Littlefinger can be, the episode wasn’t physically action-packed, but rather a verbal assault on all our favorite characters.  You […]
